Buttock fat transfer Geneva
The principle of lipofilling or lipomodeling is to use fat harvested by liposuction which will then allow for:
- Restoration of volumes and enhancement of the face, lips, cheekbones, chin, hollows under the eyes
- Filling and attenuation of facial wrinkles: nasolabial fold, frown lines
- Increase in volume of the breasts or buttocks

This technique can also be used for the following indications:
- Filling a tissue depression following trauma
- Correction of irregularities following poorly conducted liposuction
- Correction of fat wasting after triple therapy in HIV+ patients
- A thorough clinical and photographic study of the corrections to be made on youthful photographs, compared to the current state, will be conducted beforehand.
Lipofilling is usually performed under local anesthesia (with or without an intravenous tranquilizer – vigilant anesthesia) on an outpatient basis.
The removal of fatty tissue is done through a micro-incision in a discreet area where there was a reserve or even an excess of fatty tissue.
The reinjection of fatty tissue is done through 1mm incisions using micro-cannulas. Since this involves actual grafting of living cells, the lipofilling technique allows for durable filling.
The duration of the procedure can vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the case. Pain is generally minimal.
Physical recovery is usually quick due to the light and superficial nature of the procedure.
A portion of the injected fat will resorb, and the final result can only be appreciated after 2-3 months. In some cases, for significant augmentation, one or two liposculpture sessions can be planned in advance to achieve a satisfactory result.
